Research Seminars

At The Grainger College of Engineering, we embrace interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. Engineering Undergraduate Research (EUR) hosts research seminars to expose our students to various science and engineering research and to foster an exchange of knowledge.

Fostering Knowledge Exchange

Typical number of attendees of the monthly seminars range from 40-50 undergraduate students from different science and engineering programs. The seminars are opportunities to network, share knowledge, and disseminate information. Attendees can learn about new trends, innovations, and technologies in various fields. The seminars can be used to introduce students to a plethora of research topics and engage novice researchers in critical discussions about key issues.

Seminar speakers can be faculty members or industry professionals. Representatives of company sponsors may do the seminar in person or virtually. Speakers are also encouraged to share their journey to industry and/or academia.
