ENG 199 UGR is a course designed to complement the undergraduate research experience and to introduce undergraduate students to the basic elements of research, including the logical framework of research and forms of technical communication (written and verbal). Through the course, students will gain an understanding of the research process, the types of research pursued at the university, and the skills needed by researchers. A mixture of lectures, guest speakers, and interactive class discussions are used to cover the topics.

This course is also open to non-ISUR students.
